Singer and television personality Meghan Trainor’s weight loss journey is inspiring to anyone who is struggling with weight. One of the biggest takeaways from her weight loss journey is how weight training turned miraculous for her.
In November 2022, Meghan Trainor lost 60lbs. Eating healthy and hitting the gym regularly helped her in the weight loss, which significantly boosted her confidence and overall well-being. Recently, the ‘All About That Bass’ singer appeared on Today with Hoda & Jenna, and spoke about her fitness journey.
When the host said, ” You are in great shape. You look gorg!” Trainor responded, “Oh my God, have you seen me in the gym?”
Meghan Trainor, who is a mother to her two lovely babies is Riley and Barry, revealed that her kids are the biggest reason why she turned to fitness. She stated she ‘got to lift them up and chase them’ and she is exhausted.

Trainor revealed that she is into weight training 3 times a week, she lifts weights, and according to the singer, it has changed her life. She confessed that running on the treadmill made her ‘swollen’ and weight training made her strong. Interestingly, the babies also visit her every day towards the end of her workout. Well, what more could cheer you up during the gym session? Ever since she started weight training it has helped her to pick her kids up, and also feel fueled throughout the day.

Talking to People earlier, Meghan Trainor revealed that she does not crash diet. She did the weight loss the ‘healthy way,’ which according to her is the long way. Consistency is the key. Trainor chose to make workouts a part of her life. In Jan. 2022, Trainor spoke about how focusing on her physical health has paved the way to mental wellness as well. “working out is one of my favorite ways to get out of my own head. For 2022 I wanna put more time into ME for my mental health,” she wrote on Instagram.

From weight training to HIIT, Meghan’s workout regime is a mix of different exercises catering to her needs. She is also big on portion control. Speaking about how portion control has benefited her in her journey, Trainor earlier said, “I learned what portions mean. I was very dedicated and I started seeing the pounds come off like one week at a time.”
